Buckeye Partners LP in North Liberty, IA is seeking an Apprentice Terminal Operator to learn the operation and maintenance of terminal, pipeline, marine, and rail assets, focusing on receipt, storage, and inventory control of petroleum products.

Formación

• 0-2+ years related experience in terminal, pipeline or marine operations preferred.
• General understanding of equipment and maintenance of pumps, meters, truck loading rack, and dock facility preferred.
• General knowledge or experience in the petroleum industry is helpful.

Responsabilidades

• Train and apply knowledge for maintenance of terminal loading rack, storage and related equipment.
• Learn to receipt, store, and distribute petroleum products via pipeline, rail and marine dock.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety directives.
• Maintain good relationships with terminal customers and respond to inquiries.
• Assist in emergencies and participate in emergency response drills.
• Operate computer inventory control systems and participate in investigations.
• Support asset teams and Buckeye terminal operations on special projects.
