Job summary

Trimac Transportation is seeking a Terminal Manager in Los Angeles to lead terminal operations, safety programs, and financial performance. You will collaborate with the Area Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure efficient dispatch, budgeting, and profitability while maintaining strong customer relationships.

The role requires 5–7 years of relevant experience, management background, and familiarity with transportation systems.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of related experience and/or training.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience preferred.
• Experience with transportation systems and software preferred.
• Experience with computers, good keyboarding skills, and Microsoft Windows & Office Suite.
• Experience in bulk and/or hazardous commodities preferred.
• Mandatory High School Diploma, Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safety: lead safety meetings and address events.
• Drivers: coach and mentor drivers; set goals and accountability.
• Resource utilization: monitor asset usage and fleet planning.
• Customers: engage with local customers and address concerns.
• Financial: assist in terminal budget; monitor profitability and KPIs.
• Onboarding: assist with driver onboarding and paperwork.
