Job summary

Trimac Transportation System in Los Angeles is seeking a Terminal Manager to oversee driver safety, terminal operations and profitability. You will collaborate with Safety, HR and operations to ensure safe, compliant performance and strong customer relations across local terminals.

The role requires 5-7 years of related experience, management background, and knowledge of transportation systems. A BS degree is preferred and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of related experience and/or training.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience preferred.
• Experience with transportation systems and software preferred.
• Experience with computers, good keyboarding skills, and familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Office Suite.
• Experience in bulk and/or hazardous commodities preferred.
• Mandatory High School Diploma, Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Safety Trainer to address safety events.
• Lead safety and driver meetings at the terminal.
• Review safety reports and analytical data and address trends.
• Ensure terminal organized, safe, and compliant with regulations.
• Support budgeting and profitability for the terminal.
