Central Transport is seeking a Terminal Manager in Benton City, WA to lead dock operations, supervise staff, and drive service excellence.

The ideal candidate has prior LTL management experience and strong leadership abilities to hire, coach, and mentor a team while maintaining high safety and quality standards. Willingness to work 50 hours per week and adapt to shift changes is required.

Responsabilités

• Oversee dock operations at the terminal
• Manage loading/unloading freight and forklift traffic
• Oversee picking/sorting of palletized freight
• Recruit, hire, onboard and retain terminal staff
• Provide leadership to drivers and dock workers
• Monitor dock production to meet KPI goals
• Maintain safe work environment per DOT/OSHA standards
• Ensure compliance with company operational model
• Support a culture of excellence in product quality
• Flexibility to work varying shifts as business levels rise

Central Transport LLC is one of the nation’s most reliable and technologically advanced LTL (Less-than-Truckload) carriers to date. Candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule of:

Monday-Friday 6:00AM-4:00PM

Salary ranges from:

$75,000-$90,000/year + up to an additional 20% in quarterly bonuses

Terminal Manager

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

• Prior LTL management experience is strongly preferred
• Must have strong leadership skills including the ability to hire, coach, counsel, train, and mentor employees
• Desire to surround customer with excellence in service
• High aptitude for technology
• The ability to multi-task while being detail oriented
• Excellent written, listening and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to work 50 hours/week average
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferred but not required

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Oversee dock operations at the terminal
• This includes the process of loading & unloading freight, managing forklift traffic, and overseeing proper picking/sortation of palletized freight.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain terminal staff
• Provide leadership and accountability to a team of drivers and dock workers
• Monitor dock production, ensuring facility Key Performance Indicator goals are met and/or exceeded
• Maintain a safe work environment compliant with state and federal DOT/OSHA standards
• Ensure company operational model compliance
• Support a culture of excellence in quality of product to internal and external customers
• Flexibility to work varying shifts as business levels increase
