Job summary

Central Transport LLC is seeking an Assistant Terminal Manager to oversee terminal dock operations, lead a team of drivers and dock workers, and uphold safety and service standards at our Orlando area facility.

Ideal candidates will have LTL management experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a bachelor’s degree (preferred). The role offers a competitive salary, 401k, PTO, insurance, and up to 15% quarterly bonuses.

Shift: Monday - Friday, 5:00pm - 3:00am

Salary Range: $90,000-$110,000 + up to 15% in quarterly bonuses!

Assistant Terminal Manager

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

• Prior LTL management experience required
• Must have strong leadership skills including the ability to hire, coach, counsel, train, and mentor employees
• Desire to surround customer with excellence in service
• High aptitude for technology
• The ability to multi-task while being detail oriented
• Excellent written, listening and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to work 50 hours/week average
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferred but not required
• Ability to travel or relocate for future opportunities

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Oversee inbound & outbound operations on the terminal dock
• This includes the process of loading, managing forklift traffic, and overseeing proper picking/sortation of palletized freight.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain terminal staff
• Provide leadership and accountability to a team of drivers and dock workers
• Monitor dock production, ensuring facility Key Performance Indicator goals are met and/or exceeded
• Maintain a safe work environment compliant with state and federal DOT/OSHA standards
• Ensure company operational model compliance
• Support a culture of excellence in quality of product to internal and external customers
• Flexibility to work varying shifts as business levels increase
