Job summary

Hawaii Stevedores, Inc. seeks a Terminal Systems and IT Manager to provide day-to-day hands-on support for end-user devices, applications, and new technology in line with local processes and equipment. You will oversee LAN support, issue resolution, and training across HSIs locations.

The role requires 3+ years in IT, a valid driver’s license with TWIC, and familiarity with Microsoft Office. You will lead technology projects and help integrate systems for efficient operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associates degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of related experience in transportation/shipping or similar field.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and TWIC within 60 days of hire are required.
• Microsoft and/or Dell certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day maintenance and support of technology hardware and software for Hawaii Stevedores, Inc. and Hawaii Terminal locations.
• Provide end-user support via phone, email, or in person; diagnose issues and guide users to resolution.
• Lead technical projects including research, proposal, and implementation of new software/hardware; document procedures.
