SVSU in University Center, MI seeks applicants for full-time, tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor of Social Work to begin Fall 2027. The role includes teaching BSW and MSW courses, advising students, and engaging in scholarship and service within a CSWE-accredited framework.

Candidates should have an MSW from a CSWE-accredited program with licensure eligibility in Michigan; doctoral study or progress toward a doctorate is preferred.

Qualifications

• MSW from a CSWE-accredited program with licensure eligibility in Michigan (LMSW)
• Experience teaching both undergraduate and graduate social work courses
• Commitment to Scholarly activity and service across department, college, and university

Responsabilités

• Teach undergraduate BSW and graduate MSW courses as assigned
• Advise BSW/MSW students on curriculum planning and professional development
• Maintain currency in course content and instructional methods for CSWE EPAS accreditation standards
• Engage in scholarship, service, and committee work at department and university level
• Participate in program accreditation activities and community engagement
