This role supports UVU’s BSW and MSW programs, fully CSWE-accredited, with a teaching load of 24 credits per academic year. The appointee will develop curriculum, collaborate with faculty, and contribute to teaching, research, and service, with a workload of 80% teaching, 10% research, and 10% service.

Qualifications

• PhD in social work or related discipline and MSW from CSWE-accredited program.
• Two years of post-MSW social work practice experience.
• Commitment to social work education and student preparation for professional practice.
• Evidence of teaching, training, mentoring, or student support.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in social work disciplines.
• Plans, prepares, and follows an approved course of study with measurable objectives and outcomes.
• Engage in university and community service.
• Lead research and scholarly projects.
