The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley invites applications for up to three full-time, tenure-track faculty positions at Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor ranks in the School of Social Work. The successful candidates will engage in research, teaching, service, and community engagement across BSW, MSW, and dual-degree programs.

Responsibilities include developing doctoral offerings, collaborating with the Global Social Work Initiatives Office and Human Mobility Institute,

Competenze

• Earned doctorate in social work or a related field with demonstrated teaching effectiveness.
• Record of sustained research and scholarship with publications.
• Experience in grant writing and securing external funding commensurate with rank.

Mansioni

• Teach in BSW, MSW, and dual-degree programs (MSW-MPH, MSW-MBA) and develop doctoral courses.
• Engage in research and scholarship and seek external funding to support work.
• Collaborate across health, behavioral health, and related disciplines with interprofessional teams.
• Contribute to community engagement and service within the School, University, and profession.
