Nevada State University invites applications for the position of Assistant or Associate Professor of Speech-Language Pathology to begin Spring 2027 or Fall 2027, with potential for department chair responsibilities in the future.

The campus emphasizes diversity and inclusive excellence, seeking candidates who can teach SLP courses at undergraduate and graduate levels and contribute to program development and leadership in a Hispanic-serving and AANAPI institution.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated commitment to diverse, multicultural and multilingual communities.
• Experience teaching speech-language pathology at graduate/undergraduate level (preferred).
• Strong scholarly activity and service record in higher education (preferred).

Responsabilités

• Teach 24 credits per academic year (4 courses/semester).
• Teach SLP courses to graduate and undergraduate students (in person, hybrid, online).
• Supervise clinical practicum at Nevada State or RiteCare Clinic.
• Provide academic advising and mentoring to students.
• Collaborate with colleagues and local partners to prepare SLPs for the community.
• Engage in service and scholarship within the department and college.
