Job summary

Nevada State University is seeking qualified candidates for adjunct faculty positions in the Speech Pathology Program. Successful candidates will teach in-person, online or hybrid courses covering various topics such as speech sound disorders, audiology, and neurology.

Candidates will be compensated at the rate of $1,000 per credit hour, with courses ranging from 1-3 credits. A strong commitment to teaching and mentoring is essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or related field.
• Active Certificate of Clinical Competence – ASHA CCCs.
• Strong commitment to teaching and mentoring students.

Responsibilities

• Effectively communicate content and challenge students to think critically.
• Scaffold instruction to help students apply skills.
• Assess students’ progress and demonstrate a commitment to course planning.
