Nevada State University invites applications for the position of Assistant or Associate Professor of Speech-Language Pathology to start either Spring 2027 or Fall 2027, negotiated upon offer. The candidate will contribute to program development, academic leadership, and may assume department chair responsibilities in the future.

Qualifications

CCC-SLP certification required or eligible
Experience teaching SLP courses at undergrad/grad levels preferred
Demonstrated commitment to diverse, multicultural communities

Responsibilities

Teach 24 credits per academic year (4 courses/semester)
Teach SLP courses to graduate and undergraduate students (various formats)
Supervise clinical practicum on campus or at RiteCare Clinic
Provide academic advising and mentoring
Collaborate with colleagues and local districts to prepare SLPs
Engage in service and committee work
Pursue scholarly activity in discipline or teaching and learning
