Qualifications

• PhD in Rhetoric and Writing Studies, Technical Communication, English, or a related field by time of hire.
• Evidence of effective teaching at the college level (two years preferred).
• A research and teaching agenda in rhetoric and writing studies with publication record or potential.

Responsibilities

• Teach and mentor at undergraduate and graduate levels in rhetoric and writing studies.
• Develop and publish peer‑reviewed research and secure funding where possible.
• Provide service to the department, college, university, and profession.
