Qualifications

• MFA in Production or terminal degree in a closely related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience as primary editor of fiction and/or non-fiction films/TV by Aug 15, 2027.
• At least 2 years of university teaching in editing; Avid Instructor Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate editing courses including MFA Editing Portfolio classes.
• Help shape the postproduction curriculum with department colleagues.
• Maintain an active program of scholarship, teaching, and advising students.
• Commit to LMU's values of inclusive excellence and anti-racist teaching.
