The McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austininvites applications for a faculty position in ArtificialIntelligence and Operations Management, beginning in Fall 2027. Weseek candidates with a strong commitment to high-quality researchand teaching who can contribute to our undergraduate and graduatecourses in Artificial Intelligence and Operations Management. Weare particularly interested in candidates who use rigorousempirical and data-driven methods to address problems inapplication domains such as revenue management, supply chains,healthcare, retailing, transportation and logistics, and technologyand operations.

A successful candidate will be expected to establish aninternationally recognized research program at The University ofTexas at Austin, mentor graduate students, and teach at theundergraduate and graduate levels. The predominant mode ofinstruction and research is in person; accordingly, facultyappointed for employment shall reside in the proximate area of thework site for the duration of their appointment and be able tomaintain a daily in-person schedule at the assigned worksite.
