Job summary

Connecticut State Community College (CT State) seeks an on-site Instructor in Mathematics at the Waterbury campus. The role includes teaching 30 credit hours per academic year across lecture, hybrid, and online formats and developing curricula aligned to course descriptions.

The successful candidate will collaborate with students, colleagues, and external partners, participate in program reviews, and contribute to accreditation activities.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Mathematics or a related discipline.
Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).

Responsibilities

Teach thirty (30) credit hours per academic year in assigned discipline.
Courses may be offered in lecture, hybrid, and/or online formats.
Develop syllabi and reading lists; keep courses complete and up to date.
Respond to and work with students, peers, and external partners.
Assist with program reviews and accreditation-related activities.
