Job summary

CT State Community College invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Mathematics. The successful candidate will teach a range of mathematics courses, develop syllabi, and engage with students, colleagues, and external partners.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related discipline.
Ability to work effectively with diverse backgrounds and students.
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

Teach thirty (30) credit hours per academic year across assigned courses.
Deliver courses in lecture, hybrid, and/or online formats with varied schedules.
Provide student mentoring and academic advising; participate in curriculum development.
Support program reviews and accreditation activities; assist with events and workshops.
