CT State Community College seeks an Instructor to teach mathematics courses at the Waterbury campus in a 10-month, full-time tenure-track role. The position emphasizes development of curricula, timely course delivery, and engagement with students and colleagues.

Responsibilities include advising, curriculum development, and participation in program reviews, with teaching across lecture, hybrid, and online formats. Start Fall 2027; on-site work only.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mathematics or related discipline.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Teach thirty (30) credit hours per academic year and deliver a range of courses.
• Offer courses in lecture, hybrid, and online formats.
• Respond to and work with students, peers, and external agencies.
• Develop syllabi and select instructional materials.
• Assist with program reviews and accreditation-related activities.
• Attend workshops, trainings, and professional conferences to stay current.
