Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Statistics, or closely related field from an accredited institution.
• All candidates must have a minimum of 18 semester credit hours beyond multivariate Calculus from graduate/undergraduate mathematics courses.

Responsibilities

• Teaches mathematics courses from pre-algebra through calculus, differential equations, and linear algebra, including statistics and software-based courses.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, instructional materials, and student activities.
• Demonstrate and maintain current subject area knowledge and assess student performance.
• Advises students concerning academic and career issues and assists in recruitment, enrollment, and placement.
• Develops innovative teaching pedagogies and engages in department and college committees.
