This position teaches afull-time load in the Department of Psychology and Social Servicesto non-majors as well as Psychology, Social Services, CriminalJustice and Biopsychology majors in courses that may include socialpsychology, personality theory, statistics, research methods,biopsychology, and cognitive psychology. As a tenure-trackposition, student advising, scholarly activity and involvement infaculty governance is expected. The individual in this role mustdemonstrate a strong commitment to Christian higher education.

An eligiblecandidate must be a thoughtful and articulate Christian and anactive member of a Protestant evangelical Christian church.Preference will be given to the candidate who supports and has anarticulate understanding of the Reformed faith. An eligiblecandidate must understand and support the College’s "FoundationalConcepts of Christian Education" by expressing an evangelicalChristian profession of faith and demonstrate the ability tointegrate a Christian perspective in theirwork.
APh.D. in psychology, with teaching experience in research methodsand statistics.
Previous higher educationteaching experience preferred. Research that involves motivatedundergraduate students is desirable.
