Job summary

Geneva College invites applications for a tenure-track Director of Counseling for the CACREP-approved Master of Arts in Counseling program. The position begins August 2027 and remains open until filled.

The program director will lead strategic planning, curriculum development, and budget management within the Department of Counseling, and will coordinate CACREP accreditation initiatives. The role includes teaching three courses per semester, participating in student recruitment, and contributing

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Counselor Education required.
• Must be license eligible in Pennsylvania.
• Experience in Clinical Mental Health field.
• Leadership and administrative experience.
• Working knowledge of CACREP accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning and curriculum development for the Department of Counseling.
• Manage the program budget and operations; evaluate faculty and staff.
• Coordinate CACREP accreditation activities and program approvals.
• Teach nine contact hours per semester.
• Support recruitment and faculty development; engage in service to the university and community.
