Job summary

Slippery Rock University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track assistant professor position in the Electrical and Computer Engineering program starting Fall 2027. The successful candidate will teach a range of undergraduate courses from foundational to upper-division, and will seek to establish an undergraduate-focused research program.

The appointee will advise students, participate in department and university service, and contribute toward ABET accreditation efforts;

Qualifications

• PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field; start before Fall 2027.
• BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or related field.
• Commitment to educating diverse populations.
• Successful on-campus interview including teaching demonstration.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses from foundational to upper-division.
• Establish an undergraduate research program with student participation.
• Advise students and participate in service activities.
• Contribute to ABET accreditation processes and department initiatives.
