Qualifications

• PhD in Mechanical Engineering or related field; PhD before Spring 2027 considered.
• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Commitment to the education of diverse populations.
• Successful performance in an on-campus interview, including teaching demonstration.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses from fundamental engineering to upper-division Mechanical Engineering, including instruction in CAD, CAM, MATLAB, Python, and LabVIEW.
• Establish a productive undergraduate research program involving students.
• Advise students and participate in department and university service, including ABET accreditation maintenance.
