SRU invites applications for one full-time tenure-track assistantprofessor position in the electrical and computer engineeringprogram starting spring semester 2027. This position will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses from fundamental engineering courses to upper division Electrical and Mechanical engineering courses with an emphasis on Electrical engineering. Candidates should have proficiency with engineering software packages such as CAD, MATLAB, Python, Labview, Eagle PCB, and Pspice. Additionally, they will be expected to establish a productive research program that involves undergraduates, actively participate in student advising and prepare students for a successful career, and participate in department/university service, including attaining ABET accreditation. Qualified candidates have Ph.D. in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering with a strong background in electrical engineering, or related discipline. Preferred candidates will demonstrate effective use of evidence-based pedagogy and showcase a research plan accessible to undergraduate students.
