Texas A&M International University invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor of Curriculum & Instruction in the Educational Programs department, to begin Fall 2027. The 9-month, tenure-track position focuses on teaching undergraduate and graduate candidates, conducting research, and contributing to service tasks on campus and in the community.
The successful candidate will hold a doctoral degree in Curriculum & Instruction (ABD considered) with strong record or potential in
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in Curriculum & Instruction (C&I) or related field; ABDs considered if degree completed before employment.
- Minimum three years of EC-12 teaching experience or equivalent.
- 18 graduate credit hours in C&I; current teaching certification or eligibility.
Responsibilities
- Teach, mentor, and advise undergraduate and graduate students in Teacher Preparation and Graduate C&I programs.
- Conduct scholarly research and publish in peer-reviewed journals.
- Provide service to the department, college, university, community, and profession.
- Attend on-campus work regularly as part of duties.
