Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment by greeting members and guests, assisting with purchases, court reservations, and tennis questions.
• Ensure smooth shop operations by handling POS transactions, restocking merchandise, pricing new items, and setting up displays.
• Manage reservations, track court bookings, sign-up sheets, and usage reports; assist players in finding match partners.
• Maintain courts by sweeping, watering, rolling, blowing, and tidying both clay and hard courts; keep nets, fences, and windscreens in excellent condition.
• Support daily operations by preparing courts, replenishing towels, ice, and supplies, and maintaining patio areas.
• Contribute to court maintenance and shop cleaning to ensure a polished tennis experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service or pro shop experience; tennis knowledge is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience with POS systems and merchandise handling.
• Willingness to assist with indoor shop duties and outdoor court maintenance.
• Physically capable of lifting, bending, twisting, standing, and staying active during shifts.

Safety & Physical Requirements

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment.
• Use equipment properly and follow safety protocols.
• Respond effectively in emergency situations.
• Lift up to 50 lbs, work outdoors in varying conditions, and remain on your feet.
