Job summary

Life Time is seeking a tennis instructor to learn and grow professionally, teaching private and group lessons while embracing Life Time’s Play Learn Love, and SMART Juniors methodologies. You will focus on student-centered, rally-based teaching and grow your book to meet department goals.

You will contribute to creating exceptional member experiences through programs and events and uphold quality customer service, while maintaining safe and organized facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and AED certification within 30 days of hire.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of the game of tennis and effective teaching methods.

Responsibilities

• Monitors, demonstrates, and instructs students during tennis lessons on proper techniques, tactics and strategies to improve their overall tennis game.
• Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive tennis lessons and programs to ensure students develop along a pathway that will encourage continued involvement and a positive Net Promoter Score.
• Creates exceptional member experiences by involving members with programs, tournaments and special events, fully utilizing available marketing support and tools, and ensures all tennis facilities and equipment are clean, organized and in good working condition.
• Participates in the system wide sales effort with Membership Advisors and Member Activities, ensuring tennis is an integral component of the Life Time brand. Attends department and "all club" meetings
