Job summary

Life Time in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Tennis Operations Staff member to assist the Department Head with daily tennis operations, schedule court time, educate members on programs, lessons and equipment, and maintain the pro shop. This role focuses on delivering friendly, high-quality customer service.

Responsibilities include greeting members, scheduling, upselling programs and equipment, handling inventory, and cash reconciliation while upholding club standards and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Working towards a High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• CPR and AED Certification within 30 days of hire.
• Knowledge of tennis rules and regulations, including score keeping.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greets, schedules lessons and court time and assists members in a friendly and professional manner
• Explains all Tennis programs, services, and equipment to members and assists them with determining their individual needs
• Initiates, develops and maintains personalized relationships with members
• Ensures the pro shop is neat, orderly, and well-stocked
• Promotes and sell tennis programs, services, and equipment
• Assists the Department Head with inventory and ordering product
• Reconciles the cash register at end of shift
• Cleans and maintains the Pro Shop
