Job summary

AECOM seeks a Tenant Relocation Program Manager to support NYCHA Comprehensive Modernization/Trust programs. You will oversee relocation activities, maintain trackers, ensure compliance, and align NYCHA, relocation vendors, design-build teams, and internal stakeholders.

Regular site visits across NYC and coordination with multiple teams are required. The role offers strong leadership potential for a mid-career professional, with on-site work at the NYCHA office and occasional evening/weekend

Qualifications

• BA/BS plus four years of relevant experience or equivalent
• Experience in tenant relocation, housing programs, or large public-sector initiatives
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Establish procedures and readiness of vacant units.
• Develop relocation procedures, including legal documents (e.g., Temporary Relocation License Agreement, notices).
• Coordinate reviews of resident plans and notices with stakeholders.
• Forecast and manage inventory of vacant apartments (on-site and off-site).
• Lead line-by-line lease compliance and property management reviews.
• Coordinate bi-weekly stakeholder meetings to monitor progress.
