Job summary

Ramos CS, now part of Colliers Engineering & Design, seeks a Technical Coordinator for tenant improvement projects such as terminal concessions. You will report to an ADC Project Manager and coordinate design reviews, schedules, and deliverables with designers, contractors, and authorities.

Responsibilities include budget tracking, meeting preparations, RFIs, permits, and close-out documentation. You will ensure compliance with standards and maintain records across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in architecture, construction management, or equivalent experience.
  • 5–8 years of experience in design or coordination/management of tenant improvement projects.
  • Effective, collaborative communication and leadership style.
  • Comfortable with taking initiative.
  • Excellent written and oral skills including ability to communicate complex issues to a non-technical audience.
  • Knowledge of Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with CAD and BIM programs, is required.
  • Knowledge of Project Management software such as PM Web or equivalent, is preferred.
  • Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Design Review process for project deliverables with stakeholders and manage review/comments processes.
  • Schedule and coordinate design review meetings with tenant designers and contractors.
  • Participate in project coordination and design review meetings to identify interfaces and coordination requirements.
  • Assist in tracking project budgets, cost estimates, and schedules; maintain tracking logs.
  • Coordinate routing and processing of design deliverables, changes, submittals, RFIs, permits, and close-out materials.
  • Address O&M issues in the design impacting operations or maintainability.
  • Review design documents for compliance with applicable requirements and standards.
  • Maintain project records and close-out documentation per ADC procedures.
  • Assist in preparing project data for Authority management and external communications.
  • Support collaboration with TBD, Art Program, and Airline Relations Departments per lease terms.
  • Lead project meetings, prepare agendas, and follow-ups.
