While applications are reviewed regularly, please note, a position may not be actively available at the time you apply. This is a non-bargaining, non-exempt position. For non-exempt positions, you are not eligible to work a secondary job at Montgomery College.

The Pool Operator provides regular lifeguarding duties by ensuring the safety of pool patrons by rescuing swimmers in distress and administering CPR and/or AED equipment as required, while enforcing all rules and regulations related to pool activities. The Pool Operator is also responsible for operating and maintaining pools, up-keep of pool decks, and maintaining safe, clean, and sanitary swimming pool water and equipment. The Pool Operator will test water chemistry, run filtration systems, fix mechanical issues, and follow health laws.
This is a part-time, temporary position without benefits funded through June 30, 2027. Employment continuation beyond this period is contingent upon need and funding. Part-time, temporary positions are not eligible to work more than 25 hours per week.
