Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Demonstrated communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Use the academic advising best practices to build relationships with students to increase student persistence and completion.
• Provide career advising to students and utilize career assessment tools as part of advising.
• Assist students with interpreting transcripts for course selection and degree planning.
• Inform students of enrollment processes and available college resources.
• Develop and update academic and transfer plans; track progress for assigned students.
• Attend trainings and meetings, contribute to advising and transfer activities, and participate in college events as needed.
