Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in professional school counseling or related field.
• Minimum of three years of high school-based or related experience.
• Background in academic, high school, or college advising.
• Knowledge of artificial intelligence tools and emerging technologies in advising.
• Experience designing and facilitating advisory lessons.
• Passion or experience organizing college tours.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with developing personal, academic, and career goals.
• Guide members with academic planning specific to course selection and enrichment programs.
• Build strong relationships with the assigned caseload of members and families.
• Facilitate one-to-one and small-group advisory lessons.
• Design and facilitate college awareness modules for members and parents.
• Join visits to college campuses when available.
• Monitor student progress, maintain records, and develop intervention plans.
