Job summary

The NBA Social & Digital Content team is seeking a creative on-site contributor for a temporary 10-month role based in Secaucus, NJ, with an option to work remotely one day per week.

You will edit and disseminate footage, develop content plans for players, teams, games and events, and collaborate with publishers and platform leads to maintain a fast, efficient workflow across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and more. A strong knowledge of basketball and NBA content is essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience creating content for social media platforms.
• Fast-paced environment experience with quick turnarounds.
• Strong knowledge of social media formats and engagement tactics.
• Solid understanding of basketball and NBA players, teams and games.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing on-site coverage strategy across NBA Social/Digital teams.
• Edit, organize and disseminate footage while upholding NBA brand identity.
• Develop content plans and ideation for players, teams, games and events.
• Collaborate with publishers and platform leads to maintain an efficient content pipeline.
• Maintain coverage tracking docs and potentially track data.
• Research trends and opportunities for vertical storytelling across platforms.
• May capture events and games and coordinate access points.
