Job summary

The NBA is seeking a Senior Video Editor for Vertical Platforms to craft social-first, vertical, real-time content that brings NBA stories to fans on TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and more. You will lead editing, mentorship, and creative direction to deliver polished content across NBA platforms.

You will collaborate with producers, editors, publishers, and platform partners, ensuring high-quality storytelling under tight deadlines while staying current with platform trends and NBA

Qualifications

Extensive experience editing social-first short-form content for sports brands or media.
Proficiency with non-linear editing systems and color finishing.
Ability to produce polished videos with narrative structure and clear storytelling.

Responsibilities

Edit social-first vertical and real-time NBA content with strong pacing and sound design.
Provide real-time game coverage for nightly and tentpole programming.
Collaborate with producers, editors, designers, and publishers to source top moments.
Finish and composite NBA programming with high-quality color and mix.
Mentor junior editors and help establish editing standards and workflows.
