NBA is seeking a remote, temporary employee to join the Social & Digital Content team. The role focuses on identifying, creating, and publishing content to the NBA’s social and digital platforms and partners worldwide.

You’ll publish across channels, help plan content, and respond to real-time game events, all while maintaining the NBA voice. The ideal candidate stays current on platform trends, loves basketball history, and can work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience publishing to social media platforms for a sports brand or media organization.
• Strong understanding of basketball, players, teams, stats, history, and how to write in the NBA voice.
• Ability to publish across multiple platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Publish content to the NBA’s social platforms with copy, tags and publishing details.
• Support real-time game coverage and scheduled posts across platforms.
• Assist with cross-platform content planning and content driving to NBA App/NBA.com.
• Review content metrics and optimize performance based on analytics.
• Monitor team and player social channels for amplification of NBA content.
• Track trends across social platforms and adapt output accordingly.
