Job summary

JX Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Service Advisor in Elmhurst, IL. This temporary role offers opportunities to transition to a permanent position and transfer to Bolingbrook.

Shift: Tue-Fri 7:00am–5:00pm and Saturday 8:00am–Noon, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service in a busy shop environment. You will schedule repairs, document diagnostics, liaise with customers and insurers, manage timelines and invoicing, and collaborate with teammates to create positive experiences for our

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three (3) years of related automotive repair facility or heavy-duty truck experience preferred.
• Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Windows; demonstrated skills in computer-generated business systems.
• Valid driver's license; CDL required, or ability to obtain.
• Priority setting skills.
• Customer service skills.
• Technical skills/knowledge.
• Dependable and reliable attendance.
• Mindset with entrepreneurial spirit and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do Day-to-Day (Essential Duties & Responsibilities):

• Process all shop repair orders by scheduling & assigning work to shop Associates.
• Document and diagnose necessary repairs by taking photographs.
• Work closely with communication with customers and insurance companies to obtain necessary authorization and documentation relating to repair work.
• Monitor job schedules to ensure timeliness of repairs and job pricing.
• Complete invoicing and collecting procedures in a timely manner.
• Collaborate closely with team members and leadership to continuously cultivate positive experiences for our customers.
• Perform other dynamic duties and responsibilities as assigned to support business

What We’re Looking For (Qualifications & Skills):

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three (3) years of related automotive repair facility or heavy-duty truck experience preferred.
