Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training and Massachusetts licensure
• Licensed by the Board of Allied Health Professionals
• Licensed by MA Department of Public Health as an Athletic Trainer
• First aid and CPR training
• Experience with Impact Concussion program
• Fitness center weights/equipment training

Responsibilities

• Oversee all athletic training programs and rehabilitation
• Coordinate medical protocol and communication with care providers
• Provide on-site coverage at practices and contests
• Administer emergency procedures for injured athletes
• Maintain injury reports and medical forms
• Communicate with School Nurse and School Based Health Center
• Advise coaching staff on safety factors
• Maintain training room and supervise supplies
• Distribute supplies, first aid kits, and water
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and post-injury reports
• Administer concussion screening with School Based Health Center
• Promote safety, conditioning, cooperation, and responsibility
