Job summary

Mass General Brigham's athletic trainers provide services to student athletes under direction of the program or department head, supporting various schools within the Boston Public School District. The role is onsite at assigned sites with a 40-hour weekly schedule.

Responsibilities include injury care, rehabilitation design, comprehensive assessments, and coverage for home and away contests, with emphasis on safety, documentation, and equipment management.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree Athletic Training required.
• Licenses & credentials: ATC certification and Massachusetts driver’s license.
• Experience: 0–1 year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for athletic injuries.
• Design and implement injury rehabilitation programs.
• Assess and plan actions to aid student-athletes’ health and safe return to sport participation.
• Provide athletic training coverage for home/hosted contests as per CCCAA bylaws.
• Administer emergency care and first aid.
• Create and regularly update injury reports.
• Ensure proper equipment use and fitting.
• Maintain clinic documents, supplies and environment for efficient operations.
