Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Temporary Maintenance Technician at Apex Tacoma and The Pacifica Tacoma to cover a LOA. The role requires hands-on skills in maintenance, painting, plumbing, and appliance repair to keep units and common areas in top condition.

You will diagnose defects, perform make-ready tasks for new move-ins, manage supplies, and assist with vendor coordination while adhering to safety policies and company standards.

Qualifications

Knowledgeable in safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.
Experience with painting, entry level carpentry, appliance repair, and basic plumbing.
High level of professionalism and ability to read, write and communicate effectively.
Proficient in MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

Complete resident service requests and repairs in a timely manner.
Prepare apartments for new move-ins by completing make-ready tasks and scheduling vendors.
Maintain cleanliness of exterior buildings and parking areas.
Assist with vendor management and routine maintenance inspections.
Document and track service requests accurately.
