Bay State Community Services seeks a compassionate professional to support clients applying for SNAP, SSDI and other state benefits. You will conduct intake interviews to assess housing, food, healthcare and personal finance needs, and help clients navigate access to these benefits.
Within a Counselor Designated Organization, you will submit electronic applications, maintain eligibility knowledge, and collaborate with state agencies.
Come take part in this exciting, new criminal justice focused role. In this role, you will have the integral responsibility of ensuring that our individuals have successfully applied and gained access to affordable state benefits such as SNAP and Social Security Disability Income (SSDI).
This role is not eligible for standard BSCS benefits.
