Bay State Community Services seeks a compassionate counselor to help clients access essential state benefits and services. You will conduct intake interviews to determine housing, food, healthcare, and personal finance needs, and assist eligible individuals with benefit applications for programs like MassHealth, SNAP, and SSDI.
Within a Counselor Designated Organization, you may become certified to submit electronic benefits applications and work with DTA Connect for SNAP.
Come take part in this exciting, new criminal justice focused role. In this role, you will have the integral responsibility of ensuring that our individuals have successfully applied and gained access to affordable state benefits such as SNAP and Social Security Disability Income (SSDI).
This role is not eligible for standard BSCS benefits.
