Position Overview

Primary Purpose of Position

The primary purpose of this position is to provide safe, dependable, and customer-focused transportation services for students, faculty, staff, and visitors through the operation of university-owned shuttle buses, vans, and other assigned vehicles. The Shuttle Driver/Vehicle Equipment Operator is responsible for transporting passengers to designated destinations, adhering to established routes and schedules, conducting routine vehicle safety inspections, and ensuring compliance with all applicable traffic laws and university policies. Through professional, courteous, and service-oriented interactions, this position contributes to a positive campus experience while supporting the efficiency, accessibility, and overall success of the University’s transportation operations. Work Hours

Work Hours Operation Hours are Monday through Friday 7:00 A.M. until 2:00 A.M. Services are also provided on weekends, and special events.
