Job summary

IVI-RMA in Littleton, CO seeks a Temporary Phlebotomist to perform specimen collection and support lab procedures in a fast-paced fertility clinic.

The role requires 3+ years of venipuncture experience, EMR proficiency, and completion of a Phlebotomy Program. Schedule includes Tue–Fri 7:00 AM–4:30 PM and Sat 7:00 AM–12:00 PM. Benefits are offered after 30 hours per week.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' recent venipuncture in fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• EMR experience is required.
• Phlebotomy program completion is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and other specimen collection as required.
• Label, centrifuge, and transport specimens.
• Identify patients properly and reassure them to ease anxiety.
• Maintain clean and stocked phlebotomy areas and comply with OSHA/DEP regulations.

Temporary Phlebotomist

Salary Range: $22.00 To $26.00 Hourly

Join IVI-RMA in Littleton, CO and make a meaningful impact on patients' fertility journeys. We are seeking an experienced, compassionate Phlebotomist to perform specimen collection, support laboratory procedures, and provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced fertility clinic environment.

Schedule (Temporary Position):

• Tuesday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Saturday: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM

This individual will draw blood from patients for laboratory procedures used in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility. The Phlebotomist maintains a cooperative relationship with clinical staff and helps to create a positive experience for our patients.

Essential Functions and Accountabilities:

• Properly identifies patients.
• Performs and explains the process of the venipuncture and/or other specimen collection as required.
• Conducts blood draws, labeling specimens, and centrifuging specimens.
• To store and transport specimen samples according to the different procedures to maintain integrity of the specimen.
• Understands and complies with OSHA and DEP regulations.
• Maintains clean and stocked phlebotomy Area.
• Reassures patients and provide comfort to ease anxieties.

Academic Training:

• Completion of a Phlebotomy Program – highly preferred
• Studies level: Certification
• Studies area: Phlebotomy Program

Position Requirements/Experience:

• 3+ years' recent work performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting – required
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Word, and Outlook – required
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience – required
