Job summary

IVIRMA Global in Springfield, MA is seeking a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist to support the clinical team with patient care and procedures. The role emphasizes accurate charting, specimen collection, and compassionate patient interaction in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 6+ months MA experience, phlebotomy skills, and proficiency with Outlook and Excel. Weekend hours and some evenings may be required, with a comprehensive benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• Completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program – preferred
• Studies level: Certification
• Studies area: Nursing/healthcare assistant
• Studies area: Phlebotomy Program

Responsibilities

• Assist Physicians with clinical procedures
• Follow proper protocols for all procedures
• Accurately document ultrasound measurements, provider comments and use appropriate stim templates while chaperoning ultrasounds
• Clean exam rooms and equipment per protocol
• Set up and stock examination and procedure rooms
• Maintain clinical supplies inventory
• Specimen collection, processing for in-house and outside laboratories
• Manage Lanfax for outside labs, reports, results. Enter results and email to provider team for review
• Provide patients with information regarding upcoming procedures and reassurance/comfort before, during and after procedures
