Cedars of Marin seeks a Temporary, Part-Time Director of Human Resources to lead the HR function for approximately two days per week from November 2026 through April 2027. Under the CFO, you will drive compliance, guide managers, oversee performance evaluations, and support benefits administration in a mission-driven nonprofit setting.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of HR leadership, a Bachelor's in a related field, and strong communication skills, with experience in Paycom and HRIS

Qualifications

• 5+ years leadership experience in HR or related field.
• Bachelor’s in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field is required; Master’s degree preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership and oversight of HR functions, ensuring compliance with laws and ordinances.
• Guide managers and employees in resolving workplace concerns using conflict resolution strategies.
• Oversee performance evaluation processes and benefits enrollment for staff.
• Supervise HR Generalist and support HR operations, leave administration, and workers' compensation.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on labor relations and union-related matters.
• Maintain current employee policies and ensure consistent application across the organization.
