Job summary

Marion Polk Food Share is seeking a Pantry Coordinator I to support AWARE Food Bank operations in Woodburn, Oregon. This part-time, limited-duration role will help with warehouse tasks, volunteer guidance, and distributing food to the public.

You will work under the Pantry Manager, supervise volunteers, assist with client intakes, and ensure food safety practices are followed. The position may require evenings and occasional travel to mobile distributions.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating volunteers in a community setting.
• Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Supports on-site and mobile pantry operations.
• Provides excellent customer service to clients, volunteers, and donors.
• Guides volunteers and assists with training and prioritizing tasks.
• Assists with client intakes, answering phones and reception.
• Maintains clean, organized warehouse and lobby.
