Job summary

Perkins in Watertown, MA is seeking a Temporary Occupational Therapist to provide leave coverage full-time for students with visual impairments and complex needs. You will assess, plan, and deliver therapy, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team and contributing to individualized education programs while maintaining records and supporting safety.

A Master’s in Occupational Therapy and MA licensure are required; CPR/First Aid and Safety Care certifications are also mandatory.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Massachusetts OT registration required.
• Experience working with students with sensory deficits and complex needs.
• Ability to maintain First Aid/CPR/AED and Safety Care Certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical evaluation services and develops comprehensive written reports for students.
• Plans and delivers occupational therapy for students with visual impairments and other disabilities.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team and contributes to IEP/ISP meetings.
• Maintains student records and prepares data on service delivery.
