Job summary

Perkins is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support students with visual impairments and complex needs at the Watertown campus. You will assess students, develop individualized therapy plans, and provide direct therapy while coordinating with teachers, families, and medical staff.

The role requires a Master’s in Occupational Therapy, Massachusetts OT registration, and CPR/AED and Safety Care certifications.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Experience with students with sensory deficits in vision and multiple disabilities is preferred.
• Certification in CPR/AED and Safety Care is required or will be pursued.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical evaluation services with standardized and non-standardized assessments.
• Develop and implement individual therapy plans and adaptive equipment recommendations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and participate in IEP/ISP meetings.
• Maintain student records and prepare progress reports and data analyses.
• Assist in grant and proposal writing and deliver staff trainings.
