Perkins School for the Blind in Watertown, MA seeks a Temporary Occupational Therapist to support students with visual impairments and complex needs. You will assess, plan, and deliver therapy to help students build independence and confidence in daily activities.

Responsibilities include direct therapy, interdisciplinary collaboration, IEP/ISP participation, and preparation of progress reports. Supervisory roles and field placements may be included as appropriate.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Massachusetts OT licensure/registration.
• Experience with sensory deficits in vision, multiple impairments, or intellectual disabilities.
• Ability to complete First Aid/CPR/AED, Safety Care certifications.

• Provides clinical evaluation services with standardized and non-standardized assessments and reports.
• Reviews medical, family and educational histories to identify needs and objectives.
• Develops ongoing treatment plans and may supervise therapy delivery and equipment use.
• Participates in IEP/ISP meetings and programs team with progress reports.
• Maintains student records and supports safety and welfare during therapies.
